Simple 3-Step Process

How to Use EPF Calculator

Streamline your personal financial planning with an easy, automated process — calculate, plan, and achieve your financial targets.

1STEP 01

Enter your salary and age details

Input your current monthly basic salary (the component on which EPF is calculated), your current age, and the age at which you plan to retire, typically 58 or 60 years. If your salary structure includes Dearness Allowance (DA), add it to your basic salary, as EPF contributions are calculated on basic + DA combined.

2STEP 02

Enter your expected annual salary increment

Input the percentage by which you expect your basic salary to increase each year. Even a modest increment of 5%–8% per year significantly increases the EPF corpus over a long career, since both employee and employer contributions rise with the salary, and the compounding effect builds on a growing base.

3STEP 03

Review your projected corpus

The calculator shows your total employee contribution, total employer EPF contribution, total interest accrued, and the estimated corpus at retirement. Note that the employer's contribution is split, 3.67% goes into the EPF account and 8.33% into the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS), which is not included in the lump sum EPF corpus.
